Holy crap! This blog has been dead for almost 2 months!!! Time to revive it!!! HAHA!!! Since as Candice reminds me, blogging improves my writing skills although I know mine still sucks so badly! BOO!!!
Haha last blogged was like 10km run that time, and now it's like... HOLIDAYS!!! Finals are over, 21st party over, bunch of outings not updated!
Shall skip the part about mugging for finals, since there's only one thing I do remember! Amount of effort put into Psychology compared to the OTHER 4 SUBJECTS = 10:1.
Seriously, if the bell-curve doesn't exist, I would really enjoying learning so much more. This whole competition thing is simply stressing me out badly! (Although I'm competitive by nature but still! I'm a competitive slacker!)
Haha and so, SOMEHOW, I got through finals! HEHEH!!! And next would be eh, preparing for my 21st birthday party? Haha think I missed out quite a few outings in between but heck la! Lazy to find pictures!
Had an awesome and stressful 21st birthday party at my place! So freaking stressed la, running about entertaining all 6-7 groups of friends! Didn't even get to eat dinner till after the whole event! :(

Haha really had a fun outing with beechee group! Will miss everyone so much! Haix, everyone is like enjoying life overseas while I'm stuck in SG! Even my cruise trip at the end of the month is going around Singapore! LOL!
Super respect Abra la, dare to go Taiwan alone! I want that too so desperately but I understand the two main risks for me: Getting lost and getting kidnapped! SO NAHS! First one highly likely!
What else ar, hmmm very lazy to think le la! Went for supper with army pals just now! Got to meet everyone except bitch zx still in uk, and jj and jon tan all overseas too!
Finally got to meet Neil after ONE WHOLE YEAR! HAHA! And yea, no one changed at all except Fernando who really slimmed down haha! No pictures though! HAHA could wait for ZX's screenshot though! Managed to skype with him haha! =D
Yawns, during exam period, everything seems so enticing and games appear so attractive, but now that exam's over, I'm just bored, plain bored. All the expectations just went POOF!
HAIX! Oh well, shall exercise more so I don't get overly fat/skinny! That's a sorta good goal this holidays! =D
Oh lastly, AS USUAL, I shall give a quick and simple review of how my once favorite show, The Vampire Diaries is now starting to go downhill! Quite sad really! (Spoilers alert!!!)
Firstly, for a show that has always been known for it's impeccable plot and a storyline without loopholes (Okay I found a few myself, but I'm really critical so ignore that!), the show is becoming more and more unrealistic ever since season 4 started!
I'm not sure if this is due to their chief writer changing whatsoever, but I've always been amazed by how the writers manage to create plot twists that surprises even me!
However, the latest episodes have not been delivering TVD's usual standard at all especially since more plot holes are being created every minute! The sire bond sounds like total bull crap if we look at Katherine's case, the case of the Five has been sprung upon us so abruptly, the cure seems to magically appear just when they needed it most, Stefan is acting even more irritating and dumb than usual, Professor Shane is still a complete enigma after 9 episodes and deaths don't create that much of an impact no more since they simply kill off characters we are not emotionally attached too and sometimes it feels as if they are just killing off characters for the sake of killing them off.
A death full of impact like that of Anna's, Jenna's, Alaric's and Elena's should be what we're looking forward to. Entirely unexpected (mostly) and hurts the audience deeply since we are so emotionally attached to these characters!
I'm starting to feel that the writers are succumbing to pressure from the audience, and changing the storyline to suit the audience's preferences, and that's just bullshit. An awesome show just became shit, what happened to ignoring what the audiences feel?! What happened to a realistic drama?!
Furthermore, instead of introducing new elements into the show (Like the damn cure that so magically appeared?! Although I highly suspect it's actually a cure for death but whatever!), the show should have continued delving into what it has developed so far! The case of Tatia could have been used?! The case of why Michael knew Elena was the doppelganger when she was young could have been explained?! And while all these are being explained, the cure can be nicely weaved into the plot?! Instead of boom! We have a new vampire hunter in town and hohoho merry christmas, he holds the cure to all your problems noobs.
One good thing about TVD has always been how they build upon what audiences already know, but with this latest season, it just feels that they have insufficient content and is now forced to inject new content and changing the rules of the show altogether! (Kinda like Mists of Pandaria but even that is more justified) Old content ain't always bad content and should always be utilized while weaving new elements in! The writers, in my opinion have disregarded that entirely and is simply upping the stakes for the sake of upping the stakes itself.
And what the hell is wrong with Caroline and Stefan?! They are such an irritating pair together, speculating bullshit together and constantly exaggerating. And honestly, I expected more out of Stefan instead of asking Damon to simply end everything with Elena due to the dumb sire bond. That's like the most selfish thing I've ever heard him say especially since he knew Elena had human feelings for Damon before transition?! So why should Damon even give in to him?! Logically speaking, he's still the one who indirectly caused Elena's death -.-
Lastly, I was really super worried that Tyler might die in this episode so PHEW!
Oh ya watched the hobbit too! They really tweaked the plot ALOT since most of the content wasn't in the book! And yea, it was a bit too unrealistic lol, but overall still rather awesome! Can't wait for the next 2 parts! And the way they started the movie was ingenious since they could use the same setting for the sequels! :)
Okay it's 3am and I'm tired! Shall blog again soon since I'm so damn free! Shall watch more of Homeland and The Walking Dead tomorrow!
Sincerely hoping for TVD to miraculously revive itself after the mid season break! I would not want a show I adore so much to simply go to waste.
