Job? NEVER EVER GET A FLYER JOB!

Once upon a time... There was a innocent boy who was tricked into a job.

A FLYER JOB!

AND OH SHIT! THE INNOCENT BOY FORCED HIMSELF TO BE OPTIMISTIC BY SAYING ALL THESE WERE GOOD EXPOSURE AND EXPERIENCE AND A GOOD WAY TO EXERCISE!

BUT FRANKLY, THE BOY WAS THINKING TO QUIT RIGHT ON THE SPOT!

That is a cruel world out there? That would be so true. This boy's name was in fact Jon Teo! And well, I shall narrate the story of his!

Jon Teo: Woots I finally got a job!

Sms from employer: Go Sembawang MRT at 12pm.

Jon Teo: Oh man, cannot watch super nice show and the pay sucks but its good experience.

And so I reached there at 11.50. And... The employer reached at 1pm and only said sorry for being late. One hour late, so this is how companies treat their workers?! And so he delayed this further by making us wait for the flyers to arrive and I only started work at 1.50pm. Seriously, I didn't really mind those as I was reading a book while waiting but this job totally sucks.

Travelled 15 minutes to get to the block to give out door to door flyers, and after giving out to three blocks, I received a call to say newcomers are not allowed to give flyers to 10 blocks (For a mere $20) and I need to only give 5. That was good news in fact, but for shit, things got worse when the 5th block I was supposed to give out doesn't exist! For other people maybe you could just skip and say alright I did five jobs but honesty is part of a saggitarian thing and I told him the truth!

And my nightmare started, I was sent to block 500+ from 700+, and I travelled for half and hour and when I finally reached, (Asked 20 people for directions) I gave out everything and called my employer.

And his phone was off. That is so self-explanatory. Either he conned me(which is impossible as I would bring it to court) or his phone ran out of battery and there was no way I could know how to get my pay and return the leftover flyers. And so I drank bubble tea and waited for him to come back to the interchange but he didn't and so Jon Teo travelled home. Knowing he must blog about this terrible experience!

Sorry for the constant use of Jon Teo as a third character, I prefer to name myself that! :D

Gonna call him later to complain, and get my mere $10 pay for 6 hours wasted/4 hours minusing travel time!

Haizzz... So pissed off!

I could have used the time to swim and watch tv. But certainly, it is overwhelming good exposure.

I finally remember why I wanted to be a psychologist... to be in an AIR-CON ROOM to HELP PEOPLE and at least you get a good pay! (And you don't have to see blood)

Zzz... Next time I get a job, I would certainly compare and feel happy for having such a good job!

At least a bad job allows me to understand that good jobs exist! :D

Hmmm... The skin on my shoulders seem to have worn off literally. DARN IT!

Oh and finally, on my way home, I looked into a computer shop of a community centre and there they have people playing runescape when it was written clearly on the front door that playing of games is not allowed and another little boy playing LF2 when it was also clearly written on the front door that downloading of games are not allowed! Lol, the point is not about the computer shop but about how I could be the ones doing so.

Now I really don't care about the pay at all! $10 isn't really worth it! If I have to give them my bank account number to deposit $10, I don't see what's the point! :D Shall go for more indoor job interviews!

Cousin just smsed me to tell me to return her $10, well I am practically returning her 6 hours of my youth! LOL!

Aiya, that's all be optimistic all! And go join facebook its darn lame at least you can do something other than playing online games! :D

BE OPTIMISTIC!!!
