Went back with Eugene to NUS with Shanny too by cabbing! =D So got to see all his presents! The jeans we gave him were so damn AWESOME!!!
But nothing beats Hong Wen's kindle present! Freaking awesome and practical la!

Alright that's about it for Eugene's party! But it's really amazing going to everyone's 21st party first! Gives me more inspiration for mine haha!

Next... Talking about life in PGP! Saturday night was epic... just epic!
Well the whole day was kinda epic since I sorta screwed up my whole mugging schedule by waking up at 12pm, eating at 1pm, watching drama till 4pm, sleeping till 6pm, watching drama till 6.30pm before there was a knock on my door...
CLUSTER KITCHEN CLEANING!
Had an awesome time knowing new friends on my level! People who can help me I guess haha! =P (Gonna happen soon!)
And so after cluster kitchen cleaning ended (And I'm proud to say I helped alot!), first residence drama happened! Guy came in and started a very nasty conversation, before hurling vulgarities at another neighbor!
I was honestly taken aback since I had no idea what the hell was happening, and so we simply sat there and watched the show! (Well, everyone was literally sitting except me, trying to dry the fridge compartment!)
Apparently, this guy was sleeping when his door was knocked and he got real pissed, and the other guy sorta told him that if he lived on this level, he should help out in the cleaning! Which he didn't as it wasn't compulsory apparently and so the argument ensued!
After a bunch of nasty comments hurled back and forth and them asking each other for their room number (Like threatening la wtf), it ended as abruptly as it started.
Okay I'm officially bored saying their story! Mine more epic anyways! Pfft! (I kinda like using pfft suddenly!)
So... it was around 11pm I think... And I just finished eating my cup noodles in my room! (All the damn canteens were closed and I was too busy watching dramas and not mugging and lost track of time!)
When suddenly... BOOM! A WILD COCKROACH APPEARED! THIS WAS REALLY THE WTF MOMENT OF MY LIFE!
Having been watching Avatar for the whole day, I actually held an empty Hello Panda Tin and confronted the damn disgusting critter.
Chanting 'Master your fear, Jon Teo... Master your fear...' I WHACKED THE DAMN SHIT!
And well I happily thought it was dead! But that was not the end of it since I had to clear it away! Immediately called Abraham hoping he was in PGP since he said he was coming back! But well he decided to come back one day late and his phone was dead! Called Ee Chow immediately next but NO ANSWER! Called Hong Wen immediately then! AND FORTUNATELY HE ANSWERED!
I believe I was really hyper-ventilating at that point of time! Too stressed! And all of a sudden, the freaking cockroach's leg MOVED! As in there was only a little part of it sticking out but it moved!
At this moment, my new neighbor friend walked past and I asked for his help... But... He was just as useless as I am!!! HAHA! DAMN IT!
And understanding how useless we are to not even dare to clear the cockroach away, we approached our fearless cluster leader! And when he came in and told me to raise the tin, THE FREAKING SHIT WAS ALIVE! Holy crap la, evolution really make these shits so almost invulnerable ar?! (Hong Wen also scared the hell out of me by saying cockroaches are damn strong and could lift my tin?!)
Anyways, the first friend immediately went to get insecticide to spray on the floor and all I had to do was move the tin to the ground it was sprayed on... And YUP! SUCCESS! The shit was dead!
So freaking happy, and our Indian cluster leader helped us clear the main cockroach body away! This was what he said (Almost word for word): Where I come from, cockroaches and insects are everywhere.
Really respect to the max and I realized how useless I was against such a disgusting shit. But I was also happy that I actually mastered my fear and crushed it myself!
Realized I didn't take photo of the scene since I was so damn traumatized at that point of time! After the cluster leader cleared off the main body, 2 legs remained and I was still afraid to pick them up! As in, it was just soooo freaking disgusting, and I keep having this feeling they will suddenly move too! (LIKE A REVIVE!) All in all... HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE LOL. Big thanks to my dear 13 years friend Hong Wen for morally supporting me through this ordeal! Truly grateful! Although you were niao-ing me half of the time!!!
And to those who LOL-ed at me after I tweeted about this... KARMA WILL STRIKE BACK!!! =P
Well, that's about it! And so I have been cleaning my room like crazy to prevent anymore roaches! Shall vacuum the floor tomorrow!!!

Firstly I must really talk about how I learnt about iherb! And that was from my bosses! Which is why I trust this site wholeheartedly!
And well, I wasn't disappointed! Everything arrived in 4-5 days apparently! Super fast!!! All the quantity of the goods were right and quite well packed!
Personally I got myself lots of supplements (Vitamin D3, BCCA, Collagen, Bone, Vitamins), my blender bottle, air purifier, hair spray, air freshener, new protein shake since the one I have now tastes like shit!
Abraham ordered with me too which lightened my load for the delivery fee! =) Delivery fee's rather steep at S$18! But that's cause my package was too heavy but at least it's DHL! Don't really trust SingPost at all since well, their delivery service always sucks! (Cheap though and fast I heard but must be light la!)
Also, iherb.com stuffs are 100% natural!!! Which is why I gotta love them so much! Although there's also a psychological term about this, that since I bought it I would like it, consumer preference or something? Nahs can't remember what bias it is but oh well!
One troublesome part was the Authenticator Approval Code needed to activate use of credit card! Called POSB hotline but they were super blur and the Customer Service Officer simply had no knowledge la! Sucks ttm! -.-
Called again that night to clarify and I finally got it right though! Had to call their general inquiries and explained thoroughly it was for iherb.com! Luckily the CSO I got was good this time round!!!

On a random note, I learned first-hand how fast electric kettles boil today! I think I almost destroyed my room when I switched on the kettle and went to start cleaning the outside of my door, and it was boiling like siao when I walked in! DAMN SCARY like gonna explode la!!!
Lastly, I met a new PGP neighbor friend just now from Faculty of Engineering! Haha! But the main point is that he's LOCAL! Wah feels really good to meet a Singaporean friend! (LOL I KNOW THIS SOUNDS WEIRD TO SAY IN SINGAPORE BUT I BELIEVE PGP IS 95% INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS!)
Spoke quite a bit before we added each other on Facebook immediately haha! We are both just so damn amazed to see another Singaporean before our eyes! Now I have another friend to ask help for!!!
I guess that about summarizes the main events of my life the past two days! Lol! Why my life so dramatic ar?!
Switching mood!!!
Realized today how much I hate it when people ask me to change.
The only unchanging thing in this world is change, and I know I'm changing slowly as I progress through life, but to have someone tell me so, to change for the better... somehow I am simply unable to take it.
Firstly, the whole idea of 'change for the better' is simply a value judgment, and I've lived through a huge part of my life living up to others' expectations, being concerned more about what others think than what I think myself.
What I want, what I really need, is for me to simply be myself, my simple happy-go-lucky, honest, doesn't act cool, straightforward, can be bitchy, cheapo and smart self. I don't need others to give me the idea of what's better for me since who else would know that better than me myself?
I know my pros and cons well, and moving towards certain directions as others might recommend could indeed remove a lot of cons, but that would no longer make me who I am and I would simply be moving backwards yet again instead of forward. What I need is my persistent drive to be my own confident self, never being insecure about who I am, and having my own strong opinions.
To think that I would post this also yet proves that I'm indeed changing and that I'm now more willing than ever to fight more for who I am, understanding who I was, and change who I can be in the direction I choose to steer myself in with no regrets.
What I type today could be so irrelevant to me in a few years' time, but what's truly important is what I feel now at this point of time.
Yesterday is History,
Tomorrow is a Mystery,
Today is a Gift,
Which is also why we call it Present.
Also remember that it's not the size of the gift that matters,
But the size of the heart that gives it.
It's 3.41am and I'm so gonna wake up late later oh my!!!
